COLT

bulletTeri Guirrintano is the manager of COLT.
bulletEight new air-conditioned buses were put into operation in June 1998 at a cost of $1.5 million.  The new buses replace 15-year-old buses, some with more than a million miles on them.
bulletA $1500 - 911 emergency keyboard was also installed on the new buses so dispatchers can monitor COLT communications.
bulletNew buses have lifts for wheelchairs.
bulletCOLT riders provide 25-40% of operating funds.  Other funds are received through state and federal sources, including the Pennsylvania Lottery.  In August 1998, ridership was 23,019.
