Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce is to encourage and
develop business opportunities, maximum employment and a quality standard of
living.
LONG TERM PRIORITIES
 | Develop education, information and support services for the Chamber
membership to improve business effectiveness. |
 | Develop a program to recruit, nurture and retain members. |
 | Initiate and implement activities between business, industry and
education to improve the skills of our youth entering the workplace, and
provide relevant programming for our current work force through continuing
education. |
 | Work with government officials and the public to accurately
support proposals which improve the infrastructure in the Lebanon Valley. |
 | Foster pride in the Lebanon Valley by promoting its strengths and
accomplishments. |
 | Monitor pending state and federal legislative issues and advise the
membership on the effect these issues will have on the economic climate
and development. In addition, encourage members to assist the Chamber
staff with the monitoring of legislative issues. |
 | Work to make municipal governments more efficient and
responsive, and to apply uniformly standardized regulations. |
 | Monitor and have input into pending actions of local
government - township, city, borough and county. |
